Are you ready to spend countless hours poring over IRS instruction manuals to prepare your taxes this year and countless more in lost sleep worrying that you’ve made a mistake? We didn’t think so. Here’s how we can help:

Businesses – While the deadline may differ depending on the type of entity and fiscal year end selected, most business tax returns are due either March 15th or April 15th if no extension is filed. Whether you’re well organized or fond of the proverbial shoebox, we take your numbers and sort them into something that makes logical sense on a tax return. Although we know you want accurate, timely tax returns, we also hope you discover that we’ve gone the extra mile to take care of you and your business. This may mean something as simple as giving you ideas for how to better organize your records, offering suggestions for other services you may be interested in, or extra time going over your numbers with you to make sure you fully understand what they mean. For interested clients, we plan to begin e-filing business returns this coming tax season. We also offer a client portal to better exchange information with you.

Individual – Every year we will send you a client tax organizer. You may find it easiest to fill out in detail or perhaps to simply use as a tool. Once you’ve gathered all of your information, feel free to submit via mail, e-mail, or in person. We also would love to meet with you to answer your questions. We try to service 1040 clients in the order they came in and after we’ve worked through your information and asked you any questions, we will let you know when your finished product is ready for review. Once the e-file paperwork has been signed and returned to us, we can then submit the return to the government on your behalf. If you owe money, we will give you a voucher to send in with your payment by the tax deadline. We strive to make the process as easy and convenient as possible for you.

Multi-state – Ours is an increasingly mobile society. Perhaps you work in one state and live in another. Perhaps you’ve just recently moved and don’t know how to prepare a part-year return for either state. Perhaps you don’t even know where home is as far as the government is concerned. Our tax software and research tools allow us to assist in any of the above situations as well as any others that you might encounter involving multi-state questions.

Non-profits – Are you passionate about your cause, but short on time and expertise when it comes to your tax filings? Let us help you. Besides preparing the appropriate tax return, we can also assist with bookkeeping, training volunteers in accounting, preparing management reports, etc. Preparing an accurate tax return begins with good financial data. Our holistic approach can help you do just that.
